Why is an Engine Flush Necessary?
SLUDGE HAPPENS!

When you burn gasoline, you produce sludge. That's why the manufacturer installs an oil filter. Over time, like cholesterol builds up in the bloodstream, sludge builds up in the engine, potentially restricting proper flow of clean oil to critical engine parts.Check your oil dipstick even 5 miles after an oil change, and you'll see that the oil is already "dirty". That's because, during a normal oil change, up to 1/2 quart of sludge, old contaminated oil and friction-causing abrasives remain in the engine. These contaminates rob the engine of peak performance and can cause early engine failure. Power flushing them out increases oil flow and reduces friction, which means better performance and longer engine life.

Having your engine's lube-oil system power-flushed every 15,000 miles, or once a year, (along with regular oil changes) is the most important and least expensive preventative maintenance for the engine, the heart of your auto investment.
How Does the System Work?
After the used oil is drained from the engine and the oil filter removed, the system is connected to the oil filter housing and the drain plug port. The heated detergent solution is then injected under pulsating pressure into the engine, dissolving and power-flushing the sludge and other used-oil contaminates down to the oil pan where they are vacuum extracted out of the engine.
